The UW–Madison Cryo-Electron Microscopy Research Center (CEMRC) comprises two specialized facilities supporting advanced structural biology. CEMRC provides single-particle cryo-EM instrumentation and workflows for high-resolution macromolecular structure determination, while the Midwest Center for Cryo-Electron Tomography (MCCET)* enables in situ structural analysis through cryo-ET. This section outlines protocols for microscope operations, sample preparation, data collection, and processing at both centers.
