Equipment upgrades to the Titan Krios G3i

The UW-Madison Cryo-EM Research Center Krios G3i 300 kV TEM will be undergoing upgrades! The G3i Krios will be updated with new software, fringe-free imaging (FFI) for high-speed single particle and tomography data collection, and hardware for microcrystal electron diffraction (MicroED) methods. The upgrades will start October 17th are expected to take 5 weeks during which the Krios G3i will not be available for bookings.  The Talos Arctica 200 kV TEM (with energy-filtered K3 detector and Falcon III) is the available for screening and data collection – we suggest booking in advance as we expect demand to be high during this time.  Please book using the iLab portal at https://uwmadison.ilabsolutions.com
