This workshop will help you learn the fundamentals of cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET) including sample preparation, FIB-milling, correlative imaging, and cryo-ET data collection and analysis. Whether you have been collecting single-particle cryo-EM data and are now looking to start your first tomography project, or have experience with tomography, you’ll come away with fresh ideas and strategies you can put to use right away. The morning sessions of the workshop will be hybrid and the afternoon practical sessions will be in-person only. Connect face-to-face with colleagues and build community with other tomography researchers at the Midwest Center for Cryo-Electron Tomography (MCCET) at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
